Calling All Couples:
Relationship Tripping

Whether you are starting out or you have been together for decades, you know that being in a relationship is complicated. We spend a lot of time figuring out who we want to be with, finding that person or persons - but then what? Where are the movies and stories dedicated to people figuring out how to live together.

It requires a full-on willingness to grow and to be humbled. It’s a practice, one that requires a daily commitment to saying yes.

This workshop is a space to talk openly about our fears, our desires and what animates us as a couple.

Ten years ago, when our marriage was on the precipice - no, when it was shattered into a thousand pieces, we decided not to put those pieces back together. We decided to begin again, new, without the constraints that we had placed on ourselves. The box we had been in was not big enough to contain our growing souls. So we set about learning everything that we could about how to love another human being while being true to yourself.

It required learning about desire and then learning to advocate for our desires, no matter what.

It meant that we said what we felt, knowing that it was very possible we would hurt the other person. We learned how to know when we were connecting and when we were miss firing. We studied with many teachers who taught us about energy, polarity, how fear wants to be in the driver’s seat (thank you, fear, but you ride shotgun). We studied Tantra and we began dancing three times a week, learning non-verbal communication and moving meditation. We had the incredible privilege of working with some of the most talented and insightful therapists out there. We’ve been to workshops and retreats and have developed a daily practice of our own, a time every day where we play a connection game or drop into a cosmic connection.

If you are looking to go deeper in your relationship in a community of like-minded seekers and relationship trippers, join us for our next 10-week session: Relationship Tripping 2.0.

We will meet Sundays to explore a different theme, talk about relationship research, do partner exercises and share our experiences with one another. We will cultivate a common language to describe attention and intention, power dynamics, and energy, all of which play a role in our daily interactions and in the bedroom. The group will have a dedicated space online with a library of videos, talks and excepts of books and a forum to share our experiences between calls.

We will do this in a loving, supportive, inspiring community.
